1. General information
This subject aims to promote an inclusive educational perspective in the intervention with people with specific educational support needs
It aims to train future career counsellors, with commitment, motivation and active participation for the achievement of the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda. To this end, students are encouraged to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes that empower people as agents of change.
Objectives:

Develop counselling and guidance skills for education in unpredictable and progressively complex scenarios

Accompany towards personal decision making from a perspective of inclusion, participation and equity. Mobilize communicative and methodological strategies for the effective coordination of the school educational network, emphasizing on families and teachers.

Identify specific educational support needs associated with disabilities, developmental disorders, learning and behavioural difficulties.

Designing and implementing support interventions for all students who require it within the framework of the Attention to Diversity.
2. Learning results
1. Identify and plan the resolution of educational situations involving students with different abilities and different learning paces
2. Design and implement, in collaboration with the school community, measures to address diversity that guarantee the presence, participation and learning of all students
3. Plan, carry out psycho-pedagogical evaluations and know how to interpret the information obtained
4. Elaborate diagnostic reports and schooling opinions for students with specific educational support needs associated with disabilities, developmental, learning and behavioural disorders
5. Identify specific educational support needs associated with disabilities, developmental, learning and behavioural disorders
6. Designing and implementing support interventions for all students who require it within the framework of the Attention to Diversity, using the resources of the guidance system and in coordination with teachers and families
3. Syllabus
Educational counselling with respect to SEN students

Through psycho-pedagogical reports, from evaluation and coordination: elaboration of specific reports

Curricular adaptations: principles, strategies and challenges.

Management of groups with students with specific educational support needs.

Academic-professional orientation in attention to diversity.

Processes of accompaniment and methodologies of attention to diversity for the inclusion of students with specific educational needs

Theoretical and practical sessions

Critical analysis of a pedagogical report including the psycho-pedagogical evaluation, the mediation with the different agents involved and the psycho-pedagogical orientations to the teacher, family and other agents, if necessary

Practical training on guidance and counselling for students with SEN and case studies.

Visits to educational centres or centres of interest for learning.

5. Assessment system
Continuous assessment
Continuous and formative evaluation is organized by means of two tests

Portfolio, which includes the practices carried out throughout the subject (70%). It will be necessary to pass with at least 5 out of 10

Theoretical-practical test of the resolution of a case related to the counselling of SEN (30%) It will be necessary to pass with at least 5 out of 10
Overall evaluation, second and subsequent calls
The global evaluation will be carried out through the same tests as the continuous evaluation.
Copying, fraud or plagiarism
Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Rules of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to irregularities committed in the evaluation tests through academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Rules of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.
